As a Director of Client Services with Fujiyama Wealth Management, Chris’s client-centered focus and passion for learning have produced a unique combination of competence and compassion for the clients he serves. His expertise includes complex retirement income planning and investment strategies. Chris spends the majority of his time working to successfully transition pre-retirees to and through retirement, in addition to assisting current retirees with personalized income strategies.
In addition, Chris enjoys educating the younger generation on budgeting, cash flow, and debt management. He believes financial literacy at a young age is critical in order to achieve financial freedom for the future. He also has an active role on the firm’s investment planning committee.
Chris’s passion for finance and helping others started at young age. His mother immigrated to the USA from Peru. While growing up, he has helped his mother and relatives by translating and helping them with various daily challenges. Chris was fascinated in learning about financial planning while taking a financial planning elective course at Georgie State University. Since then, he has fallen in love with the industry and is passionate about helping others.
Chris graduated cum laude from Georgia State University in May 2013 with a BBA in Finance with a graduate certificate in Personal Financial Planning. Chris is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a Certified Retirement Counselor®. In his spare time, Chris enjoys weight lifting, running, volunteering, and spending time with friends and family. He is also a fan of Atlanta sports teams and enjoys rooting for the Falcons, Hawks, and Atlanta United.
